2-day course originally taught by John Farnam of Defense Training International, inc. This class drives home mindset and techniques needed for shooting quickly and accurately in stressful situations. Students will engage multiple targets and learn low-light shooting. If you only ever take one class your whole life, this is the one to take. 

Defense Sense LLC partners with Shield Maiden Tactical to alternate hosting this course every month. Both organizations are run by certified affiliate instructors of Defense Training International, inc. and share the same cadre of assistant instructors.

Students will fine tune their draw from concealment and work on recoil mitigation to a high performance standard. A 1.5 second or less "draw to first accurate shot" on a traditional IPSC A-zone is a realistic goal students can plan to reach in this class.

While concealed is recommended for most, military or LE officers are welcome to take this course in their duty setups and will find GREAT help becoming proficient with such.

4-hour lecture on Utah and Federal firearms laws as required by the Bureau of Criminal Identification to qualify to apply for a Utah CCW Permit.

Semi-auto rifles can be extremely effective defense weapons. This course teaches zeroing optics, marksmanship, and weapon manipulation.
